Description
The BT7H trailer coupler lock is a” high security” lock designed to uniquely fit the forged square body 2” & 2 5/16” trailer ball couplers with or without surge brakes commonly used on boat trailers. Due to its unique design, it can work with stamped and forged housing couplers, including Demco and Dexter style couplers. The housing is made of ¼” P&O steel, providing durability and strength. The forged coupler lock is tamper-proof from hammering, prying, sawing, and resistant to grinding. The Locking pin is constructed from ¾” steel and is completely contained in the housing with no access to tampering.
All components are interlocked, eliminating loose parts requiring assembly each time you install or remove the lock from the coupler. This feature makes installing and removing the lock quick and easy, requiring only one hand in a few seconds. This is the only “high security “ lock that is handicap friendly.
Storage bracket, sold separately, provides a secure place to hold your lock when it is not connected to the trailer coupler.
